Cares Program

Making lives better one craft at a time!

Atypically Artistic Cares Program

My goal is to make the world a better place through my art by supporting people and causes that are near and dear to my heart! A portion of proceeds at Atypically Artistic go to a variety of nonprofits throughout the year whose missions improve lives like mine!

Organizations Atypically Artistic Supports
The Trevor Project | Supporting LGBTQIA+ Youth
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Research Foundation | Improving care for people with EDS, HSD &
related disorders
The Sepsis Foundation | Saving lives and reducing suffering
CHADD | Improving the lives of people affected by ADHD

Calendar of Caring

Throughout the year, a portion of profits from select months and special occasions go to a variety of organizations doing incredible work. Check out our Calendar of Caring below to see when extra donations will be made to which organizations!

May | EDS & HSD Awareness Month

Every May, the Elhers-Danlos Society works to raise awareness, share experiences, and drive progress for those living with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD). I was diagnosed with hEDS in 2024 after decades of chronic pain. This organization has been a wealth of knowledge and has helped me learn to manage my hEDS much better since my diagnosis.

September | Sepsis Awareness Month

Our family was touched too closely by sepsis in October of 2023. The Sepsis Alliance has designated September as Sepsis Awareness Month and the goal is to help save lives by raising awareness of the leading cause of death in U.S. hospitals – sepsis.

October | ADHD Awareness Month

CHADD is one of many partners that helps put on ADHD Awareness Month each October, with a goal to provide reliable information and resources to help people thrive with ADHD. I have lived with ADHD my whole life and was diagnosed in 4th grade when I was struggling through traditional schooling. I contribute back to organizations like these to help people with ADHD be able to find their success and happiness in our neurotypical built world.
